| BY LAW CHANGES 3/25/10 1.Senior lineman weight limit increased 5 pounds to 155 1/4 lbs. and Junior backfield weight limit increased to 135 1/4 lbs Side Bar Discussion On the floor vote to detail what determines exactly how the MFL defines scrimmage game is: UNIFORMED REFEREES MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE AND ON THE FIELD TO CALL THE GAME: 100% VOTE IN FAVOR 3/11/10 1.Senior backfield weight limit increased 5 pounds to 140 1/4 lbs. and Junior backfield weight limit increased to 120 1/4 lbs 3/1/10 1. Filming is now allowed of regular season and playoff games; scrimmages may be viewed/scouted but not filmed, practices may not be viewed at all 2. The 7 Year Old Rule is now in effect 3. Any town hosting a playoff game must have the field they are playing certified by a HS official in order to play the game at that site |
